Ultramid Polyamide B: PA 6 (unreinforced) from BASF is a tough and strong material affording parts with good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in the dry state and at low temperatures.     Ultramid® 8200 HS
    Ultramid 8200 HS is a heat stabilized, medium viscosity, PA6 injection molding homopolymer, exhibiting resistance to sink-mark formation in thick sections, and improved toughness over conventional lower viscosity grades. It possesses a combination of strength, stiffness and toughness properties as well as excellent heat, chemical and abrasion resistance. It is available in natural and pigmented versions.

    Ultramid® 8202
    Ultramid 8202 is a low viscosity, general purpose PA6 injection molding homopolymer exhibiting excellent melt fluidity for filling thin sections. It is also available in heat stabilized (Ultramid 8202 HS) and/or pigmented versions. It combines good strength, stiffness and toughness as well as excellent heat, chemical and abrasion resistance.

    Ultramid® 8202 HS
    Ultramid 8202 HS is a heat stabilized, low viscosity, general purpose PA6 injection molding. It possesses the combination of strength and toughness and has excellent chemical and abrasion resistance. The heat stabilizer system extends the retention of properties at the more elevated temperatures. Excellent in filling thin walls or areas.

    Ultramid® 8202 HS BK-102
    Ultramid 8202 HS BK-102 is an unreinforced, heat stabilized, pigmented black, low viscosity, general purpose injection molding PA6 exhibiting excellent fluidity for filling thin sections. It possesses the combination of strength, stiffness and toughness properties as well as excellent chemical, thermal and abrasion resistance. The heat stabilizer system extends its retention of properties at elevated temperatures.

    Ultramid 8202 L is an unreinforced, low viscosity, highly lubricated PA6 injection molding homopolymer exhibiting excellent melt fluidity for filling thin sections.

    Ultramid® 8202C HS
    Ultramid 8202C HS is a heat stabilized, low viscosity, PA6 injection molding homopolymer possessing a modified crystalline structure for increased property performance and faster cycles. It is also available in pigmented versions.

    Ultramid 8202C HS BK-102 is a heat stabilized, low viscosity, pigmented black, PA6, injection molding homopolymer possessing a modified crystalline structure for increased property performance and faster cycles. It is also available in non-heat stabilized (Ultramid 8202C).

    Ultramid® B27 E 01
    Ultramid B27 E 01 is a low viscosity general-purpose, extrusion PA6 grade well suited for compounding. It conforms to FDA requirements including, 21 CFR 177.1500,EU Directive 2002/72/EC, the German BfR recommendation "X Polyamide", 1.6.1998 or legislations for other countries will be provided on request.

It is suited for metal replacement.

It exhibits high strength, rigidity, and good heat distortion temperature. It resists creep under load and the heat stabilizer system extends its retention of properties at elevated temperatures.     Ultramid 8267G HS BK-106 is a heat stabilized, weather resistant, 40% mineral and glass fiber reinforced PA6 injection molding compound with improved UV resistance and sink mark resistance. The combination of mineral and glass fibers result in a high performance, low warp and cost effective engineering thermoplastic. It exhibits high strength, good UV resistance, rigidity and good heat distortion temperatures. It has a relatively high resistance to creep under load. The heat stabilizer system extends its retention of properties at elevated temperatures. It has good chemical resistance to greases, oils and hydrocarbons.

    Ultramid SEGM35 H1 BK-126 is a 40% glass/mineral reinforced injection molding grade. It offers enhanced surface appearance, it also exhibits similar UV weathering characteristics compared to 8267G HS BK-106. In parts containing cross sections, significant pressure drops are encountered during filling.

Impact Modified

    Ultramid® 8253
    Ultramid 8253 is an unreinforced, impact modified type 6 graft copolymer developed for both injection molding and extrusion applications. It is also available in heat stabilized (Ultramid 8253 HS) and/or pigmented versions. Copolymerization results in improved dry as molded toughness and increased flexibility to meet higher impact performance compared to conventional unreinforced homopolymers.
