Resist friction

The bearing components in the wheel tracking elements used in wheel suspensions are subject to tough standards. These components are designed to dampen vibrations and absorb the brake and acceleration forces introduced by the wheels.

In the case of conventional hydro bearings, the rubber end stop, which is subject to high dynamic loads, can wear away through friction. This results in the bearing ceasing to work properly before its time. Extend the usable life of hydro bearings without the changing component geometry by using an end stop (clip) made of Cellasto®, which is extremely resistant to friction.

Hydro bearings modified using Cellasto pass even the most demanding of usable life tests. Due to their high volume compressibility, low permanent set and progressive characteristics, Cellasto end stops facilitate soft starts as well as safe reduction of travel.

For the driver that means improved comfort and safety.
